Exhibit Hosts

hosting exhibitHosting Making Alabama. A Bicentennial Traveling Exhibit is your opportunity to be a part of history. As we celebrate the 200th anniversary of Alabama’s statehood, your community can be a part of the larger celebration by hosting the exhibit and developing your own local exhibit and collateral programming.

Alabama Humanities Foundation is presenting the traveling exhibit and offering tools and resources to assist your community in hosting this historic event.

Since the exhibit is traveling to all 67 Alabama counties from March 2018 through November 2019 with up to three week engagements, prospective host communities throughout Alabama are being considered.

A minimum space requirement for the exhibit is 1,000 square feet with 10-foot ceilings. It must be easily accessible for the general public.

To apply to be a host community for Making Alabama, simply fill out the form below. The first round of selections is expected to be announced in April 2017.
